Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
1. A good childs manors Starts at home.
2. Mother keep your chichildren on the straight and narrow.
3. We the church can only assist in this, but love, respect, and care starts at their home.
1. Genesis 18:27-33 ERV
Then Abraham said, “Compared to you, Lord, I am only dust and ashes. But let me bother you again and ask you this question. What if there are five less than fifty? Will you destroy a whole city because of just five people?†The Lord said, “If I find forty-five good people there, I will not destroy the city.†Abraham spoke again. He said, “And if you find only forty good people there, will you destroy the city?†The Lord said, “If I find forty good people, I will not destroy the city.†Then Abraham said, “Lord, please don’t be angry with me, but let me ask you this. If only thirty good people are in the city, will you destroy it?†The Lord said, “If I find thirty good people there, I will not destroy the city.†Then Abraham said, “Lord, may I bother you again and ask, what if there are twenty good people?†The Lord answered, “If I find twenty good people, I will not destroy the city.†Then Abraham said, “Lord, please don’t be angry with me, but let me bother you this one last time. If you find ten good people there, what will you do?†The Lord said, “If I find ten good people in the city, I will not destroy it.†The Lord finished speaking to Abraham and left. Then Abraham went back home.
2. Luke 18:9-14 ERV
There were some people who thought they were very good and looked down on everyone else. Jesus used this story to teach them: “One time there was a Pharisee and a tax collector. One day they both went to the Temple to pray. The Pharisee stood alone, away from the tax collector. When the Pharisee prayed, he said, ‘O God, I thank you that I am not as bad as other people. I am not like men who steal, cheat, or commit adultery. I thank you that I am better than this tax collector. I fast twice a week, and I give a tenth of everything I get!’ “The tax collector stood alone too. But when he prayed, he would not even look up to heaven. He felt very humble before God. He said, ‘O God, have mercy on me. I am a sinner!’ I tell you, when this man finished his prayer and went home, he was right with God. But the Pharisee, who felt that he was better than others, was not right with God. People who make themselves important will be made humble. But those who make themselves humble will be made important.â€
3.Psalms 2:4-11 ERV
But the one who rules in heaven laughs at them. The Lord makes fun of them. He speaks to them in anger, and it fills them with fear. He says, “I have chosen this man to be king, and he will rule on Zion, my holy mountain.†Let me tell you about the Lord’S agreement: He said to me, “Today I have become your father, and you are my son. If you ask, I will give you the nations. Everyone on earth will be yours. You will rule over them with great power. You will scatter your enemies like broken pieces of pottery!†So, kings and rulers, be smart and learn this lesson. Serve the Lord with fear and trembling.
4. James 4:5-10 KJV
Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
Notes: We belong to God. Let your security be in the Lord.
That why our children should know their own parents are roll models, no one else.
5. 1 Peter 5:5-10 ERV
Young people, I have something to say to you too. You should accept the authority of the elders. You should all have a humble attitude in dealing with each other. “God is against the proud, but he is kind to the humble.†Proverbs 3:34 So be humble under God’s powerful hand. Then he will lift you up when the right time comes. Give all your worries to him, because he cares for you. Control yourselves and be careful! The devil is your enemy, and he goes around like a roaring lion looking for someone to attack and eat. Refuse to follow the devil. Stand strong in your faith. You know that your brothers and sisters all over the world are having the same sufferings that you have. Yes, you will suffer for a short time. But after that, God will make everything right. He will make you strong. He will support you and keep you from falling. He is the God who gives all grace. He chose you to share in his glory in Christ. That glory will continue forever.
Notes : You want to be blessed, be humble. When you see the glory of God humble yourself.
some people cannot handle higher positions too quickly, and God knows when you are ready. Do not try to promote yourself before God says you are fully prepared fire such a time s this.
Who can make you sin? But you. Good promotes, Godlines, not a sinful attitude, or disposition.
Humble yourselves and let God direct your path. Some go to college for two terms and don’t realize their major because they have not humbled themselves to what God has for them to do with their lives.
Humble your heart to what God has in store for you. God will direct your path. And give your life direction.
